RACE SMARTER

  • Brake before the bend. Follow the blue racing line; amber means lift, red means brake. Too much speed creates understeer.
  • Feel the grip. Sudden steering and throttle can slide the rear. Countersteer, ease off, and keep tyres on the asphalt.
  • Catch a tow. Sit close behind a rival on a straight to reduce drag.
  • Collect clean files. Blue documents add +22 ERISA. Red errors cost 18. A full meter gives six seconds of boost.
  • Protect the car. Impact momentum causes damage and reduces power and grip. At 100%, you retire. Purple ERISA repair files remove up to 22% damage.
  • Box when called. Enter the blue pit lane on the right before the start line. Brake for the 80 km/h limiter, drive to the Stax box, and stop. Service takes 8–15.5 seconds and restores tyres and the car. Hot or worn tyres trigger warnings; ignoring a required stop at speed causes damage.
  • Watch the sponsors. Cranky sponsors wander into the racing line. Cycle 4 adds alternating restatement barriers.
